About Frank

Frank, a Qualified Cabinetmaker with 14 years experience completed his apprenticeship in Toowoomba Queensland working in the field of furniture restoration and custom made furniture. Since completing his apprenticeship in 1992 Frank has continued to pursue his passion in the field of arts and crafts both formally and informally.

From 1992 to 2000 Frank worked extensively for restorers and furniture makers throughout Queensland. During this time he was developing a parallel interest in painting and drawing. In 2000 Frank began a Fine Arts degree at the Canberra School of Art, a division of the Australian National University in the painting workshop. During this time he participated in various exhibitions at the University. On graduating with honors in 2004 he had a show at the Alliance Francaise exhibiting new works.

After completing his degree Frank spent time working in a Furniture Conservators workshop. Here Frank worked on a range of high quality furniture from museums and private collections.

Frank now has his own business specializing in restoration and conservation as well as individually designed custom made furniture from his fully equipped workshop in Geebung. Frank  also teaches apprentice cabinetmakers part time.
