This Chair is from the shipping line AUSN “Australia United Steam Navigation” which operated 1887 to 1961 and serviced the east coast of Australia. This box has a hinged top and flap which open out to reveal a writing surface, a series of compartments and a drawer It has a shiny French Polished finish.

Flood Damage bookcase appalling condition.

This photo shows an antique bookcase on the back of a truck. Photo taken just after the 2022 Brisbane floods. It is a two piece bookcase, bottom section with solid panel doors and the top section with shelves and glass doors. It was completely submerged in water and is covered in mud with broken glass, veneer falling off. In very bad condition.
