An exquisite writing box of the highest standard.

A visually stunning writing box. Bright brass in an elaborate arabesque decorative pattern inlayed into a deep red-brown richly toned Brazilian Rosewood. This box has a hinged top and flap which open out to reveal a writing surface, a series of compartments and a drawer It has a shiny French Polished finish.

What a mess

Flood Damage bookcase appalling condition.

This photo shows an antique bookcase on the back of a truck. Photo taken just after the 2022 Brisbane floods. It is a two piece bookcase, bottom section with solid panel doors and the top section with shelves and glass doors. It was completely submerged in water and is covered in mud with broken glass, veneer falling off. In very bad condition.
